Who We Are:
The APB is an organization of professionals dedicated to the structural health, and well-being of women. Our goal is to educate and custom design bras to support today’s active women, enhancing both their image, activities and health. Our members have received certification from a recognized school specializing in bra design, engineering and construction.

Our Mission Statement:
To educate women about the importance of breast health and proper support that should be provided by a comfortable, well-fitted bra and providing quality custom bra services to meet the diverse needs of women of all ages.

What We Do:
  • We design and manufacture custom comfortable, supportive foundation garments for the unique needs of each of our clients.
  • As professionals we work to help educate the public on the link between properly fitted, supportive garments and breast health.
  • In order to provide the highest quality products available on the market, we keep up to date with improvements in construction methodologies and available materials.
  • By networking together, we keep informed of industry changes, knowledge of difficult fitting problems and the ethics of working with the general population on such a personal level.
What to Expect from a Professional Bra-Maker
  • You should expect to have a consultation first before any fittings are done. The consultation allows you time to get to know your Bra-maker and discuss your needs and her services. Depending on your Bra-maker and the complexity of the garment, it usually takes 2 to 3 fittings to get the right fit, although more may be required.
  • The Professional bra-maker will supply the fabric, the findings and draft the pattern so you will get the best fit and the best support.

  • Two to four weeks to complete a garment is average. This will vary with each bra-maker, the complexity of the style and the time of year.

  • The Professional bra-maker will supply the fabric, the findings and draft the pattern so you will get the best fit and the best support.
Payment policy:
Most professionals require a 50% deposit with the order and final payment in full upon completion of the work

Quotes :
A written quote is confirmation of styles, fabrics used for construction, delivery date and price. In general, prices are commensurate with materials used and the skill and experience of the bra-maker.
Sales tax and business licenses:
These should be displayed. Never deal with anyone who is working " under the table" or "off the books".
Samples:
Samples of the bra-maker's work should be readily available so that the client has the opportunity to closely examine the quality of workmanship and materials used.
